Monday Moon - Edition 1068

This week’s Positive Monday is about a simple way to improve your communication and

reduce unnecessary pressure.

Pause before you answer.

Why It Works

It is easy to respond too quickly.

Sometimes we answer before we have fully understood the question.

Sometimes we react before we have had time to think.

And sometimes we say more than we need to say.

A short pause gives you a moment to think clearly.

It helps you respond instead of react.

And it often makes your answer calmer, clearer, and more useful.

What This Looks Like in Real Life

You can use this when:

• Someone asks you a difficult question

• A conversation feels rushed

• You receive unexpected feedback

• You feel under pressure to reply immediately

• You are not sure what the best answer is

The pause does not need to be long.

Even two or three seconds can make a difference.

Action Exercise

Today, before you answer an important question, pause for a moment.

Take one breath.

Then give your answer.

Notice whether that small pause helps you feel more calm, clear, and in control.

At Service King, we believe that calm, thoughtful actions lead to
better results, just like a clean and organized workspace helps people work more clearly and confidently.

Warm regards,

Vick Sharma
