Monday Moon - Edition 1049

This week’s Positive Monday is about a simple way to lift someone else’s day — and your own:

Say One Kind Sentence

Choose one person today — a colleague, a friend, a family member, or even someone you interact with briefly — and offer them a single kind, genuine sentence.
It might be appreciation, encouragement, or acknowledgment.

Just one sentence.
That’s all it takes.

Why It Works

Kindness has a ripple effect. A sincere sentence can shift someone’s mood, boost their confidence, or make them feel seen. And interestingly, the giver often gets just as much benefit — kindness activates areas in the brain associated with happiness and calm.

These small, human moments strengthen relationships and remind us we’re all connected.

Examples of One Kind Sentence

“I really appreciate the way you handled that.”
“You made my day easier — thank you.”
“You’re doing a great job, even if it doesn’t always feel like it.”
“I’m glad you’re part of the team.”
“You’ve been on my mind today — hope you’re doing well.”

Short, simple, sincere.
That’s the whole magic.

Action Exercise

Today, offer one kind sentence to someone.
Make it specific, make it genuine, and watch how it brightens both of your days.

At Service King, we believe small acts of kindness — and clean, welcoming spaces — help create a happier day for everyone who walks through the door.

Warm regards,
