Monday Moon - Edition 1059

This week’s Positive Monday is about a simple way to stop small tasks from piling up.

If it takes less than two minutes, do it now.

Why It Works

Small tasks can create a surprising amount of mental clutter.

One quick email.

One small item to put away.

One phone call to return.

One note to write down.

On their own, these things do not seem like much.

But when they build up, they can make the day feel heavier than it needs to be.

The two-minute rule helps you clear small things quickly before they turn into a larger pile.

What This Looks Like in Real Life

You might use it to:

• Reply to a simple message

• Put something back where it belongs

• File one document

• Wipe down one small area

• Make one quick note

• Send one short confirmation

The key is simple.

If it is useful, and it takes less than two minutes, handle it straight away.

Action Exercise

Today, look for one small task that would normally sit around and annoy you later.

If it takes less than two minutes, do it now.

Then notice how good it feels to have it finished and out of the way.

At Service King, we know that small jobs done consistently can make a big difference, especially when they help keep a workplace clean, organized, and easy to use.
