Monday Moon - 1077

This week’s Positive Monday is about finding a little extra confidence when something feels difficult.
Borrow some confidence from your own past.
Why It Works
When you face an unfamiliar challenge, it is easy to focus on everything you do not know.
You might wonder whether you have enough experience, whether you will make a mistake, or whether somebody else would handle it better.
But this probably is not the first time you have faced something you were unsure about.
You have learned new skills, worked through problems, and adapted to changes before. Some things that once seemed daunting may now feel quite ordinary.
Remembering how you managed a previous challenge gives you something useful to draw on today.
You might not have all the answers yet, but you have experience in finding your way.
What This Looks Like in Real Life
Think back to a time when you:
• Learned a skill you initially found difficult
• Started a new job and gradually found your feet
• Solved a problem you thought would defeat you
• Had an important conversation you had been putting off
• Managed an unexpected change
• Completed something you were nervous about starting
Ask yourself what helped you get through it.
Perhaps you asked for advice, practised, prepared carefully, or gave yourself time to learn.
That same approach might help you again.
Action Exercise
Today, choose one thing you feel uncertain about.
Write down a previous challenge you successfully handled. Then finish this sentence:
“What helped me then was…”
Choose one part of that approach you can use with your current challenge.
Let your own experience remind you that feeling unsure at the beginning does not mean you cannot succeed.
At Service King, we understand the value of experience when tackling a challenging job. Our cleaning and property-maintenance team draws on practical skills and experience to help keep your property looking good and running smoothly.
